Our View

Pro V1 and Pro V1x continue to set the bar incredibly high when it comes to all-around, best-in-class performance, albeit with a premium price tag.

PROS

Remarkable distance – Although not defined as distance balls you will achieve remarkable driving distance from an all-round performance ball.
Consistency – both the Titleist Pro V1 and V1x set the gold standard for consistency.
Flexibility – The soft feel provides greenside confidence and superb spin.
Feel – The soft surface sets the standard for premium golf balls to feel.
Sound – The Pro V1 and Pro V1x produces a sublime sound

CONS

Cost – the Pro V1, and Pro V1x are simply not a cheap investment. These two balls are among the most expensive balls on the market.
Designed for Pros and High-Level Amateurs – to put it bluntly, unless you play to a single-digit handicap, and even probably sub-5 handicap, you will not notice differences compared to cheaper- alternatives.
